Seven Deadly Sins
Does artistic expression lie in the execution itself, or in the technique through which it is realized?
The motifs are graphically developed with the help of digital media, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of classical forms. Lithography brings nobility to the work, giving it weight and significance. Each pass can be viewed as a separate piece, which ultimately merges into a single whole. The motifs of the sins emerged from a deep exploration of human beliefs, which, under the influence of modern and accelerated evolution, keep changing their meaning. Today, sins are no longer strictly negative; instead, they’ve become an integral part of human character. The project offers a critical reflection on the shifting perception of sin and shows how sins have evolved in line with contemporary values and social norms.
